Roadtrip Nation doc features MSU's Jenny Rogers

Jenny Rogers

Mississippi State’s Career Center invites students and interested members of the general public to Lee Hall’s Bettersworth Auditorium Tuesday [March 17] for a 6 p.m. exclusive screening of a one-hour first generation-themed roadtrip documentary before it airs on PBS.

For the first generation-themed roadtrip sponsored by Costa Mesa, California-based career exploration organization Roadtrip Nation and not-for-profit College Board, Mississippi State sophomore and Vancleave native Jenny Rogers and three other first-generation college students set out on a five-week cross country excursion to interview prominent individuals about their respective career paths.

Beginning at 9 a.m. today [March 17], Rogers, her fellow roadtrippers and their bright green RV will be outside of the university’s Colvard Student Union. They will be promoting their inspirational documentary about first-generation college students and their experience with making career-related decisions.
