MSU invites fans to ride shuttles

Mississippi State University invites fans to make use of our shuttles, especially those to downtown Starkville. More shuttles are being added downtown this Saturday, with a “DWS Express” running non-stop from Giles Hall (Architecture Building) to the Starkville Daily News offices (corner of Jackson and Lampkin streets).

Additionally, the SMART shuttles will also run to campus. However, since SMART is a joint project between MSU and the city of Starkville servicing the entire town, not all of the SMART trolleys head to campus, so be sure you’re getting on the right trolley.

Here’s a quick rundown of what gets you to campus, including the new “DWS Express” we’re introducing this weekend:
Reserved RV/Wise Center - Picks up at Lot 29 and 31 and on the northwest corner of the Wise Center and drops off at Thompson Hall.
Thad Cochran Research Park - Runs from Research Park to Humphrey Coliseum.
Davis Wade Express - Picks up at Starkville Daily News and drops off at Giles Hall.
S.M.A.R.T Downtown Route - Starkville Electric, Regions Bank, Bank of Commerce, Stromboli’s, Catholic Church, Sweet Peppers to Giles Hall.

For additional transportation choices that run throughout Starkville, but do not run on campus visit www.smart.msstate.edu.
