Works by a Mississippi State art department lecturer and seven other artists are on display through June 28 at Mississippi State's Cullis Wade Depot Art Gallery.

Titled "HomeEc," the free summer exhibition is featured on the second floor of the university's Welcome Center at the Cullis Wade Depot. It features 19 pieces incorporating textiles, embroidery, whittling, ceramics, collage, photography and 3-D printing.

Regular gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Through their creations, Rowan Haug and artists from Mississippi, Arkansas, Kentucky, New York, and Tennessee offer a variety of unique considerations of home, domesticity, privacy, tradition, belonging and displacement.

"Home Ec" exhibitors--and their respective areas of emphasis--include:

--Rowan Haug of Starkville, fiber art;

--Marty Haug, also of Starkville, sculpture;

--Summer Carmack of Oxford, ceramics;

--Joe Ford of Arkansas, sculpture;
