Blues Traveler takes the MSU Riley Center stage Sept. 19.
With hits like âRun-aroundâ and âHook,â Grammy-winning jam band Blues Traveler has been adding its heavy dose of harmonica to the college-scene soundtrack for 26 years.
John Popper and his bandmates released their 11th studio album -- âSuzie Cracks the Whipâ -- last year, filling it with their trademark blues-rock, along with interesting collaborations in singing and songwriting.
Blues Traveler comes to the MSU Riley Center stage in downtown Meridian on Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m,. with a pre-show reception at 6 p.m.

The most recent album features several collaborators, including American Idol finalist Crystal Bowersox and the Spin Doctorsâ lead singer Chris Barron. Also for the past 20 years, Blues Traveler has consistently headlined the traditional July 4th concert at Coloradoâs Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
