The Human-Animal Bond Lecture Series, hosted by the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine, will be held Oct. 25-28. The event will include four lunchtime presentations during the week, and will culminate with a keynote address on Oct. 28 by Dr. Michael Hutchins, director/CEO of The Wildlife Society. The Human-Animal Bond Lecture Series celebrates the special relationship between humans and animals, seeking to explore all its facets. It also raises awareness that the bond includes companion, production, wildlife animals, and more.

Dr. Michael Hutchins is director and CEO of The Wildlife Society, an organization committed to a world where humans and wildlife coexist. He is also an adjunct associate professor at the University of Maryland's graduate program in Sustainable Development and Conservation Biology. Having had a significant impact in wildlife management and conservation, his work has taken him to more than 30 countries and six continents.
