The MSU Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) will host a video game social event Saturday, September 18th beginning at 10 a.m. The highlight of this event will be a sixty-four man, one versus one, double elimination Starcraft II tournament fund raiser held in the Butler Computer lab.
There will be a ten dollar entry fee for the tournament, and cash prizes will be awarded to the top three Starcraft II players. Runners-up will receive eight gigabyte USB drives courtesy of MSU alumnus founded corporate sponsor, Navagis.
The event is open to the general public and spectators are welcome. Guests may bring their computers to Butler 100. In addition to the tournament, the MSU-LSU game will be shown on the projector, and XBox and Wii consoles will be set up on the big screen televisions in the student lounge.
