Volunteers needed for tutoring, mentoring programs

The Peer Tutoring and Academic Mentoring programs are seeking students from all majors and classifications who wish to help other students by providing help and advice for their classes. The only requirement is a minimum 2.80 grade-point average.

An interest session is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 29, at 5:20 p.m. in Fowlkes Auditorium of the Colvard Student Union.

In their second year, the programs are sponsored by the Student Association. Applications are available in the Office for Student Involvement or online at www.sa.msstate.edu under "Forms."

Applications are due by Friday, Oct. 30, by 5 p.m. in the Office for Student Involvement or at the interest meeting.
