STARKVILLE, Miss.--Mississippi's higher education commissioner will be the special guest Monday [Nov. 3] for the next Stennis-Capitol Press Forum luncheon.

Hank Bounds will provide updates on current matters being dealt with by the Board of Trustees, State Institutions of Higher Learning.

The noon program takes place at Jackson's Capital Club, which is located on the 19th floor of the Capital Towers at 125 South Congress St.

Though open to all, advance reservations are required to ensure adequate seating. The meal cost of $20 is payable at the door.

The reservation deadline is noon Friday [Oct. 31] and may be made by email to frank@sig.msstate.edu. Parking will be available in the Capital Towers lot.

An ongoing program of the capitol press corps and Mississippi State University's John C. Stennis Institute of Government and Community Development, the forum provides public policymakers and newsmakers an opportunity to discuss and answer questions about their organization's operations.

Checks for the meal should be made payable to the Stennis Institute.
