Alpha Delta Pi Sorority holds groundbreaking ceremony Friday

STARKVILLE, Miss.--Alpha Delta Pi at Mississippi State University announced it will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Friday [Aug. 9] for the sorority's new Epsilon Eta chapter home, to be located at Lot #17, Robert Louis Jones Circle, Starkville.

The 4 p.m. campus ceremony will include Alpha Delta Pi international officers, members of the Epsilon Eta chapter and university administrators, as well as representatives from Genoa Construction Services, Inc., Architect Michael Hug of Hug & Associates, LLC, and Chad Pepper, president of Greek Key Services.

Alpha Delta Pi International President Tammie Pinkston will speak during the ceremony. She and Epsilon Eta steering committee members will be available to provide more information about the project.

The Epsilon Eta chapter is the 146th active chapter of Alpha Delta Pi and was installed in April 2013.

Alpha Delta Pi was founded at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Ga. in 1851. Now headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., the sorority includes more than 235,000 women in 146 active collegiate chapters and more than 148 alumnae associations.
