Per U.S. Presidential Proclamation signed May 10, 2013, all flags will be flown at Half Staff from sunrise to sunset on Wednesday [May 15] in observance of "Peace Officers Memorial Day." The day is observed annually in honor of federal, state and local officers killed or disabled in the line of duty. It is observed in conjunction with Police Week.
