HCDC seeks peer counselors, ambassadors

The Holmes Cultural Diversity Center is currently taking applications for students for the Peer Counselor and Ambassador Program. This select group of students is responsible for increasing retention and graduation rates for freshman and transfer students of color. The program's aim is to focus on student success by developing mentoring relationships with freshmen and with transfer students, as well as hosting various programs for the students.

To apply you must have at least a 2.5 GPA, have completed at least two semesters by Fall 2013, be in good judicial standing, and demonstrate the ability to communicate with and value a variety of personality types. Applications are located at the Holmes Cultural Diversity Center on the second floor of Colvard Student Union, Suite 220. They are due by March 18.
