SAE dodgeball event to raise funds for Palmer Home

The MSU chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity will hold the 2013 Paddy Murphy Dodgeball Classic starting Wednesday [March 6] at 3 p.m.

Proceeds from the three-day event at the SAE house will go to the Palmer Home for Children. Entry fees are $90 for teams of 6. No uniforms are needed, but teams are invited to make their own.

“The chapter really wanted to help Palmer Home out in any way possible and get students involved. We saw how much the organization and families did to help the children have a loving and nurturing environment,” said philanthropy chair Alden Thornhill, a sophomore communications major from Greenwood.

There will be a women’s and men’s bracket. The winning team from each will have $150 donated to the charity of their choice.
