MSU Music Day provides look at classes, future careers

STARKVILLE, Miss.--Mississippi State's music department will welcome prospective music and music education majors Nov. 5 during the Fourth Annual Music Discovery Day.

Oct. 31 is the registration deadline.

Designed to provide comprehensive information about the academic program and careers after graduation, the daylong open house will involve high school juniors and seniors, community college students, and their parents. They will be meeting with both university faculty members and currently enrolled students.

Music classes and performances, along with a campus tour, also are part of the visitor schedule.

Additionally, representatives of the Office of Admissions and Scholarships will be available to answer questions about financial aid and the application process.

Online registration may be completed at www.music.msstate.edu/discover/. The $5 registration fee may be paid at check-in.
