The MSU Center for Student Activities will host âShades of Starkville,â an event combining the Showcase of Starkville and the Student Involvement Fair, on Monday [Aug. 20], from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., on the Drill Field. Shades of Starkville is being brought to the MSU community after receiving a huge response from MSU students wanting to know more about shopping opportunities and dining options in the community.
This event will be one of the only programs during the fall semester which promotes area businesses to students. Also, it helps ensure that students on campus are connected to local businesses. Students are important to Starkvilleâs economy, this is an opportunity to show partnership between the community and campus.
Student organizations are encouraged to signup for the Student Involvement Fair by this Friday [Aug. 10].
