The MSU Police Department in collaboration with the MSU Extension Service and Health Education & Wellness, will host a collection site as part of the Drug Enforcement Administration's National Take-Back Initiative. The prescription and over-the-counter drugs "Take-Back" event will be held Thursday [April 26], from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., on the Drill Field.
This represents a convenient and safe way for households to discard unwanted and expired medication without flushing pills in the toilet, pouring liquids in household drains, or discarding medications in household trash, where they could be consumed by children or potential drug abusers.
