Grown in Austin, Texas, Ghostland Observatory is an electro, rock, and funk music duo that has been on the scene since 2004. They've made a name for themselves over the years by performing at the renowned Austin City Limits music festival, as well as the likes of Coachella and Voodoo Experience in New Orleans. Their last album "Codename: Rondo," dropped in 2010, demonstrated their ability to keep electro sounding "fresh" by fusing its sounds with other music genres.
Typically seen with up to 100 watts of power in their laser shows, Ghostland Observatory's partnership with Lightwave International earned them second place in the Live Performance category at the 2009 ILDA Awards.
Music Maker Productions (MMP) is a student organization providing quality, contemporary entertainment for the MSU community. For more information about this event, please visit www.msuconcerts.com or call 662-325-2930.
