STARKVILLE, Miss.--Mississippi State fine arts majors will present their week-long Bachelor of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition, beginning Tuesday [Nov. 8].
Titled "Convergence," the two-location showing is free and open to all. The students' works will be featured in both the ground-floor McComas Hall Art Gallery and at the College of Architecture, Art and Design's Visual Arts Center.
The exhibition includes creations of 21 students from a variety of fine art areas of emphasis, including painting, photography, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, and drawing.
A 5:30-8 p.m. reception Thursday [the 10th] will begin at McComas Hall and continue at the CAAD center at 6:45 p.m. Refreshments will be served at both locations.
The exhibition is sponsored by the College of Architecture, Art and Design and its art department.
Other McComas Hall art exhibitions throughout the year may be viewed 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
