At approximately 8:30 p.m. Monday evening [April 20], a female Mississippi State University student reported being assaulted in the vicinity of Sorority Row on the MSU campus. She described her attackers as two black males and a black female.
"We are asking that anyone with information about the incident contact the MSU Police Department at 662-325-2121 with any details they may be able to offer," said Dean of Students Mike White. MSU Police and local authorities continue to investigate the incident, which began off-campus.
White said the victim was able to provide a description of the assailants and their vehicle, and authorities have issued a be-on-the-lookout alert.
"We remind students to be conscious of their surroundings, to lock the doors of vehicles even when traveling on campus, and to report suspicious circumstances to the MSU Police," White said.
