The works of eight graduating Mississippi State seniors are on display through May 3 as part of the university's 2001 Bachelor of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition.
"Live Artists 29 Cents-A-Pound" is the theme of this year's art department-sponsored presentation in the McComas Hall gallery. Regular gallery hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays-Fridays.
Featured are the creations of Christopher H. Crowley of Starkville, Casey Hayden of West Monroe, La., Elizabeth O. Laird of Natchez, Samuel Lawson Jr. of Greenville, Christopher B. Lucius of Tishomingo, Brady Noble of Port Gibson, Aaron L. Reece of Meridian, and Tommy L. Simmons of Louise.
Crowley, Lawson and Lucius are specializing in painting; Hayden and Laird, in photography; Noble and Reece, in ceramics; and Simmons, in sculpture.
