Dining services' catering manager since 1988, he assumed the expanded duties March 1, replacing Vicki Clark, who left the university last year.
In addition to his culinary supervisory duties, Mohammad Netadj previously helped prepare many of the operational manuals currently governing dining services procedures. He also developed an agricultural education course on the work of international relief agencies in developing agricultural knowledge and means in less-developed countries.
A native of Iran, Mohammad Netadj holds a bachelor's degree from Tehran University and a master's from Jackson State University, both in economics.
At MSU, he completed an educational specialist's degree in educational and experimental statistics and, in 1995, a doctorate in rural sociology.
In addition to historic Perry Cafeteria, Dining Services operates five other campus facilities, including the State Fountain, Gooch's Deli, Mitchell Memorial Library's Food for Thought Deli, Wise Center's Pegasus Cafeteria, and the McArthur Court "quick stop" in McArthur Hall.
