Selected black-and-white works by Southwestern photographer Kent N. Bowser are featured through the end of the month in a Mississippi State University exhibition.
The nearly 100-piece collection is available for viewing through Jan. 29 in the School of Architecture Gallery (Room 221) of Giles Hall.
Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-10 p.m.; Friday, until 5 p.m.
Bowser's images capture sites ranging from Ohio Indian mounds to Scottish megaliths of the Orkney Islands. Also included are a variety of landscapes and architectural sites from the Southwest and Mexico.
Based in Santa Fe, N.M., Bowser is a freelancer whose specialty is archaeological documentation. The Ohio State graduate has taught at a number of universities, including Denison and New Mexico at Los Alamos, as well as at Santa Fe Community College. He regularly conducts photography workshops throughout the Southwest.
