Through Dec. 10, Mississippi State students can receive library assistance at a special information desk in the university's Colvard Union.
Reference librarians will be available noon-3 p.m. each day in the first-floor lobby area outside the MSU Bookstore.
"We are providing assistance in identifying and choosing resources for papers, projects and presentations," said outreach coordinator Gail Peyton.
In addition to providing printout results of the searches, librarians will assist with remote access inquiries to more than 130 databases and virtual library resources, she added.
During this time, students also will have 24-hour-access to the computer commons at Mitchell Memorial Library.
"We hope these services will help ease anxieties as students prepare to complete their semester's work," Peyton said.
