Animated insects and Mother Goose will help Mississippi State entertain community children Wednesday [April 21] during the university's "A Day at the Union."

Edwina Williams of Columbus, who portrays the fictitious author of all those English nursery rhymes, will read children's stories, sing and perform with puppets 4-6 p.m. in the Colvard Union lobby.

Following her program, the popular movie "A Bug's Life" will be shown in the union small auditorium 6-8 p.m. Popcorn and prizes will be given away throughout the day.

The student-staffed Campus Activities Board is sponsoring all of the free activities.
