10-year-old Lyem Ningthou (foreground) was among campers participating this week in the second session of Video Game Engineering Day Camp. Sponsored by the K-12 Outreach Office at the Bagley College of Engineering, the July 21-25 camp provides fourth-eighth graders with the opportunity to design and modify their own exciting arcade-style video games. In addition to programming characters, objects and outcomes in a game, students also learn how to increase the difficulty level and add more features to the games they create.
