The Mississippi State chapter of Phi Delta Theta social fraternity came together to assist one of their alumni, Ralph Doxey, third from left, who is battling Lou Gehrig's Disease. Undergraduate and alumni members of the chapter wanted to help the Doxey family, who now reside in Tupelo, by raising money to contribute toward medical expenses. A local "Casino Royale" themed event facilitated generous donations from alumni, students, parents and friends, and the fraternity held a check presentation ceremony Monday [April 7] to give $23,000 to Doxey and his wife Megan.
