Mississippi State's Famous Maroon Band plays on the steps of the Swalm Chemical Engineering Building during the Drill Monday evening. A tradition with roots in the military history of MSU, the Drill is a pep rally held on the historic Drill Field to welcome new and returning students to campus, as well as raise excitement about the upcoming athletic seasons.
