Celebrating the best season by any team in school history, Mississippi Stateâs Diamond Dawgs will be honored Thursday night [June 27] at 7 p.m. at Dudy Noble Field. The celebration comes at the close of MSU's advancement into the finals of the College World Series for the first time. MSU fans packed TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha Tuesday, with crowd numbers reaching a record-breaking 27,127. MSU fell to UCLA in the two-game series, 3-1 and 8-0.
