The Mississippi State communication department’s Theatre MSU presents “All Shook Up” for three performances, April 18-20, during the university’s Super Bulldog Weekend festivities. Called an “American jukebox classic,” the musical comedy is built around songs made famous by Elvis Presley. Taking place in the 1950’s South, one girl’s dream and a visit from a guitar-playing stranger help a small town discover the magic of romance and power of rock and roll. Shown are cast and crew members Kiefer Slaton of Vicksburg, center; and clockwise from bottom left, Kiana Durr of Ellisville; Janis Ross of Starkville; Erin Stephens of Brighton, Tenn.; and Jen Lee of Summerdale, Ala. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the performance at 7:30 p.m. on the McComas Hall main stage. The $10 tickets can be purchased at the door or at www.comm.msstate.edu/dept/theatre.
