Amy Whitten, principal at The Whitten Group and former IHL Board of Trustees member, spoke Thursday at the opening of the Women in Higher Education Mississippi Network conference on the MSU campus. The organization is dedicated to supporting women in higher education leadership, assisting them in career development and mentoring, and enhancing their visibility as administrators on campuses across the state. Other speakers at the two-day event include international leadership trainer Wanda McCallum, Mississippi Economic Council President Blake Wilson, and Sam Haskell, former worldwide head of television for the William Morris Agency.
