Amelda and Azelda Ellis, field technical assistants in the Mississippi State University School of Human Sciences, demonstrate how to make play guitars from cereal boxes, yarn, tongue depressors, and paper. Recorded at the University Television Center, this demonstration is part of a video series developed by the Mississippi Child Care Resource and Referral Network housed in MSU's Extension Service and funded by the Mississippi Department of Human Services. The series will show viewers how to create things such as homemade books, homemade chalk, recyclable frames, and homemade paintbrushes for childcare providers, classroom teachers, parents, and other caregivers.
