Camp Jabber Jaw camper, Ryan Mobbs, and his sister, Courtney, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., enjoy the Sanderson Center swimming pool. In its 14th year, Camp Jabber Jaw is hosting 13 campers and their families this week. The campers, who range in age from 5-19, all use augmentative and alternative communication devices. Funded in part by the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services Project START, Camp Jabber Jaw was established to provide a fun way for individuals to develop improved interactive communication skills.
