This year's Maroon Edition selection, Unbowed by Wangari Maathai, was announced during a Monday kick-off ceremony and reception in the John Grisham Room at Mitchell Memorial Library. In keeping with the book's African theme, Dr. Robert Damm, left, and members of the African Student Association performed with African musical instruments and sang some traditional songs to represent the culture. The author was the first African woman, and the first environmentalist, to win the Nobel Peace Prize. For more, visit www.maroonedition.msstate.edu.
