After Jack, a Labrador retriever, had neurological injuries that affected his back legs, he needed physical therapy to regain strength in them. Mississippi State University's College of Veterinary Medicine uses techniques and equipment to help improve health of injured animals. Using an "endless pool" for animal rehabilitation, Ruby Carter, a veterinary technician, and Kerry Centini, a senior veterinary medical technology major, has helped Jack with his recovery. A recent addition to the college, the pool allows animals to use their full range of motion as they swim.
