Coordinated and conducted by associate professor of music Richard Human, tubas and euphoniums got to move from their customary location at the back of an ensemble to center stage. The group recently provided live Christmas music to everyone dining in the Gaddis Hunt Commons at the Colvard Student Union. The performance marked MSU's first participation in "TUBACHRISTMAS," which presents concerts throughout the world and was conceived in 1974 as a tribute to the late artist and teacher William J. Bell, who was born on Christmas Day, 1902.
