Ann Jaffe, who, with most of her family, survived the Nazi invasion of Eastern Poland in part by taking refuge in a nearby forest, described the experiences and her memories of the Holocaust Monday. Speaking to an overflow crowd in McCool Hall, she urged students to learn from her life experiences that hatred destroys only those who hate and the importance of forgiveness while not forgetting the atrocities of the past. Her visit was sponsored by the MSU Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President. Watch the video here.
