MSU engineering students may be serious about their studies, but they know how to have a little fun, too. This past weekend the Bagley College of Engineering debuted the "Spirit-O-Meter" during tailgating activities before the MSU vs. LA Tech game. Computer science and engineering graduate student Pooja Adhikari tested the strength of her cowbell spirit as senior computer science and engineering major Marlon Taylor recorded her score. The Spirit-O-Meter was conceived by BCOE's Publications and Communications Office and implemented by J.W. Bruce, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering. All players received a button commemorating the relative power of their ring as "Bully's Buddy," "Bona Fide Bulldog," or the biggest & best "Top Dawg." It's not too late to get in on the action to win a "Top Dawg" chrome cowbell because the Spirit-O-Meter also will make an appearance at the remaining home games.
