About 100 young people involved in the Cal Ripken Foundation visited Mississippi State on Monday and got life skills tips from baseball coach John Cohen. The group also heard from MSU President Mark Keenum before playing Ripken Quickball in the Palmeiro Center. Quickball promotes agility and eye-hand coordination by combining the most exciting elements of baseball and softball. The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation uses baseball to reach underserved youth across the country through partnerships with organizations and schools, bringing vital life lessons to America's most impressionable population.
