Staff members in MSU's Carl Small Town Center met Wednesday with the town of Smithville's infrastructure committee to discuss the community's long-range goals for rebuilding, after being devastated by an April tornado. Led by FEMA, the strategic planning process will involve the CSTC and students in the university's College of Architecture, Art and Design who will devote an entire semester of studio class time to interviewing town residents and presenting ideas and options for community reconstruction.
