A group of Mississippi State students inspected on Tuesday parts of a Buick Regal, which shares a "platform" with the 2013 Chevy Malibu involved in EcoCar 2. The recruitment seminar for MSU's EcoCar team was part of daylong events associated with Movin' Maroon, an outreach at the universiy's Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems. After researchers and other leaders on energy research spoke in the morning, the public had opportunities to ride and drive MSU's vehicle from the first EcoCar competition, along with a Nissan Leaf and a propane-converted vehicle.
