Dr. Robert Kroger, a Mississippi State assistant professor in aquatic sciences, takes a break from a photo shoot for the MSU Foundation to satisfy his curiosity about a lotus or water lily at the H. H. Leveck Animal Research Center. Known by most as South Farm, this area of the Starkville campus is an important land resource, supporting departmental teaching and various research activities associated with the animal science curriculum. It provides the students of Animal and Dairy Sciences contact with modern techniques in animal agriculture, as well as the opportunity for practical work experience.
