Rosie Camper Weary, author of "Stepping Out from the Shadows," signs copies of her new book in MSU's Mitchell Memorial Library Tuesday. Rosie, wife of well-known racial reconciliation activist Dolphus Weary, tells her own story as a behind-the-scenes worker focused on making a positive impact in rural Mississippi. The book's proceeds benefit the Wearys' Rural Education and Leadership (R.E.A.L) Christian Foundation, which connects resources and technical assistance to ministries in rural parts of the state. The event was sponsored by the MSU President's Office.
