Amanda Clay Powers, assistant professor with Mississippi State libraries and virtual reference project manager, leads a group of librarians in a class on Web 2.0 for the K-12 Classroom. The class was part of the MSU Libraries' 2011 MegaResource School Librarian Workshop. School librarians from across the state braved the cold weather to be on campus Friday for the 11th annual workshop. The event included a keynote discussion on internet database service MAGNOLIA, nine concurrent sessions on a variety of topics, and an informal discussion with Missy Hopper, children's book author and MSU assistant professor. Deborah Lee, MSU libraries professor and coordinator of library instruction, chaired the event.
