The front of Allen Hall transformed into an African music venue recently as part of events associated with the fifth annual International Education Week on campus.
Music professor Robert Damm and his African-American music class performed African and African-American songs.
Along with speakers, presentations and other campus events, the week of culture is sponsored by the university's Holmes Cultural Diversity Center in collaboration with the Office of International Program Development, Hispanic Student Association, Society of Professional Hispanic Engineers, the College of Veterinary Medicine and Barnes & Noble at Mississippi State.
