Works from 43 contemporary ceramic artists are part of a national invitational exhibition currently on display in the McComas Gallery as part of the cultural and educational events surrounding the Maroon Edition freshman book, "Three Cups of Tea." Functional and non-functional interpretations of the tea cup, a metaphorical illustration of the community described by Greg Mortenson in "Three Cups of Tea," by renowned artists such as Peter Beasecker, Jack Troy, Robert Long, Hyn Kyun Yoon, Yoko Sekino-Bove, Mel Griffin, Jeff Campana, Julia Galloway, Chris Staley, and John Williams, will be on display daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The works are being offered for sale to the public with portion of proceeds going to support one of the MSU Maroon Edition outreach activities, the Lamia Afghan Foundation, which provides school supplies to children in Afghanistan.
