At MSU's South Farm, the first day of autumn began at midnight under an exquisite full moon. This set the stage for yesterday's autumnal equinox and a Super Harvest Moon, which rose exactly opposite to the setting sun, creating a must-see 360-degree twilight show. It has been two decades since this phenomenon last occurred.
