U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran, along with officials from NASA, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association and state College Board, were among an audience of some 100 joining MSU President Mark E. Keenum for the Monday groundbreaking of the Science and Technology Center at the Stennis Space Center. The $9 million structure will be the new home for the university-led Northern Gulf Institute.
