Standing at attention near Lee Hall, an Italian marble sculpture of a World War I soldier serves as a memorial of Mississippi State students who died in the war. Sponsored by the class of 1932, the sculpture was based on an unknown MSU student. While soldiers who served in war aren't forgotten, the sculptor's identity remains lost to time.
