A reproduction of the death mask made at Ulysses S. Grant's death in 1885 were among artifacts on display Tuesday in the Grant presidential collection housed in Mitchell Memorial Library. John Marszalek, MSU emeritus professor and executive director of the U.S. Grant Association, led an open house to showcase the collection, containing more than 10,000 linear feet of materials. The next volume of Grant's memoirs, to be edited by Marszalek, will deal with Grant's death.
