Mitch Weegman (r), Mississippi State's 12th Goldwater Scholar, was honored Friday during a reception hosted by the Shackouls Honors College. His parents, Dale and Lise Weegman, of Winona, Minn., looked on with pride during the ceremony. Weegman is a senior studying to become a waterfowl biologist.
