Earlier this week, workers completed assembly on a section of steel rebar frame for one of two concrete columns to support MSU's new $6.1 million high-definition video board at Scott Field. Located at the south end zone, the high-technology display will measure 152 feet wide, more than 135 feet tall, and feature an 111-by-47-foot screen. With plans to be operational during the 2008 football season, it also will include both vertical and horizontal scoreboard components.
